Zeta is a bit dated in bits but overall holds up well and the art is much better. If you like that, proceed in chronological order. They cut out most of the toyetic/comedic elements form the show that scream 'this was made in the 70s!'Īlso, once you've seen how the mobiel suist of the era are supposed to look, the terrible animation quality is easier to deal with since your imagination can fill in the gaps. Some people like it, some people dislike it due to the perceived "90's boy band" dynamic plus reused animation but as far as gundam shows go you could do way worse. It's a different take on the horrors of war.
